Ministrstvo za delo, družino, socialne zadeve in enake možnosti z zakonom o izenačevanju možnosti invalidov predpisuje sofinanciranje prilagoditve vozila gibalno oviranim osebam, ki lahko vozilo upravljajo sami, ter invalidom, ki sami ne upravljajo vozila, prilagoditev pa je nujno potrebna za vstop invalida v vozilo in varno vožnjo.
